The Automotive TECHNOLOGY Show, features an expo of world leading technology suppliers to the Automotive Industry from the specific areas of CRASH, LOW CARBON VEHICLE, POWERTRAIN, SIMULATION, TESTING, INDUSTRY 4.0, and SMART MANUFACTURING.

Event focus areas 2018

Crash & Safety

Understand technology to assist in the development of your vehicle to the highest international standards in terms of passenger and pedestrian safety, impact and collision, safety analysis, hardware in testing and virtual development.

The expo will cover data acquisition, high speed cameras, test labs, software, dummies, and anything crash related.

Low Carbon Vehicle 

Gain a good understanding of development trends that reduce emissions such as creating advanced propulsions systems, electric vehicles, hybrids, emission control systems, and lightweight vehicle technology. The expo area welcomes all forms of green technologies that encourage low carbon vehicle technologies.

The Automotive Noise & Vibration  seminar examines the latest testing and simulation methodology used by NVH professionals. The conference aims to assist managers and engineers faced with new development challenges caused by Improved noise regulations, passenger comfort, & consumer choice that are pushing the need for greater technology to improve several aspects of noise and vibration in vehicles.

The Powertrain seminar deals with all aspects of powertrain & drivetrain development with relation to passenger cars, buses, trucks and heavy-duty vehicles.

The  Simulation seminar examines the latest computer aided engineering used in vehicle development. This section is relevant to all other topics and may feature case studies that cross over into the other seminars at the symposium.

The Testing seminar examines a wide range of testing hardware and software, including the latest development trends and challenges. Every type of testing across the vehicle and powertrain is covered

The Vehicle Networking seminar deals with the challenges OEMs and suppliers face with increased data flow in vehicles, and more complex in vehicle networks. The seminar will deal with several topics including CAN, Ethernet, vehicle security and hacking.

The Automotive Technology exhibition in general will feature exhibitors presenting advanced vehicle engineering hardware, software, tools and services. The event covers all areas of the symposium including a large vehicle testing expo, powertrain expo, green technologies expo and advanced engineering.

Set among landscaped gardens and suburban surroundings, Hilton Sandton is located just north of Johannesburg in the city’s business district. Guests have easy access to the Gautrain, Stock Exchange, Global Banking Institutions and Nelson Mandela Square.
